Front 242's Rules
1) If our rules in any way bother you, or you do not agree with them
we ask that you kindly and respectfully leave our server[s].
Our rules are our baseline to try and ensure fair and equal game play for everyone in every game we choose to play. We respect other squads' and servers' rules so please respect ours.
2) No Cheating, hacking, scroll shooting, or glitching is allowed or encouraged, doing so will get you kicked, temp banned, perma banned (whichever we deem appropriate). No left lean glitch allowed in our BHD Servers. You are allowed to left lean in our BHD servers' but do not put your weapon through the wall. Backing up a bit off the wall will prevent this from happening. Use F4 mode to check if you like or ask a teamate to verify. Going outside the intended area of a map is also not allowed and once asked by a member to get back in please do so or you will be kicked, temp banned, perma banned. Please note that you will be banned for even merely discussing cheats, hacks or glitches as we see fit.
3) No Modifications to any weapons or game's code are allowed. If said maker of game endorses the mod then it is acceptable. Example of modifications not allowed are: Changing the sound of your weapon. Changing the size of your hitbox. Placing scopes on weapons that did not come stock with one. Don't be rediculous, we expect all players including our members to play equal and fair. Changing things as such is not equal and fair, so don't do it.
4) No Excessive Camping & Spamming allowed! If you are asked to not camp please don't argue with the person asking you. If you are asked to not SPAM please don't argue with this either. We realize that sometimes you know someone is in where your shooting. But fishing for kills is lame and we ask you don't do it.
5) No stacking of Satchel Charges is allowed in BHD servers. We do try and duplicate some real life scenario's and stacking satchels is not one of them. Give us a break. No using of any explosive device to gain higher jump advantages are allowed.
6) Complaining is allowed to some extent, but don't push it, lag in a server is part of gaming and we all deal with it. If you have a complaint please take it to our website as our servers are not your place to complain or forge complaints. Do not taunt other players by tea-bagging them, this is considered disrespectful and most likely will start an argument which we don’t want to deal with. In general do not taunt members or any guest for any reason whatsoever! Some players are better than others but bragging does not make you cool, please be careful how much you blow your own horn.
7) NO recruiting in our servers is allowed unless it is cleared with 242 Staff first.
8) If you believe someone is cheating take a screenshot or record their game play to record your proof. Calling someone a cheat without proper proof is not allowed.
9) If you are a member of a squad you must wear your squad tags while in any of 242's servers. If you are no longer on a squad you shall not represent them by wearing their tags. You shall not duplicate ANY players' tags whatsoever especially 242 members tags. Doing this shows intent to personally harm one's reputation they have earned.
10) We reserve the right to punt or ban anyone who does not follow these rules, or disrespect's any player especially 242 Members. If your game play is highly suspicious we also reserve the right to punt or ban you. This of course is not taken lightly. We fully, and to the best of our ability look into fair and equal game play in every situation we come across. Screen Shots should be taken for any disrespect or violation of any of 242's rules.
11) Any disrespect to fellow members, allies and guest, especially admin or staff will be dealt with by immediate removal from squad as we see fit. If you are a guest in our server and do any of the following above we also reserve the right to kick, temp ban, or perma ban from all =242=Servers, VOIP's, Websites. Screen Shots should be taken for any disrespect or violation of any of 242's rules.
12) Excessive Camping is NOT ALLOWED! Hopping is allowed, but not excessively. Don't expect us to respect you if you hop as a means of defense. We believe in trying to keep things in our server somewhat realistic and hopping is not realistic around every corner. We believe this as some of us are active duty military servicemen & veterans who have seen action. Hopping is noobish, it is our opinion, don't argue with us about it. If you do not agree with this then that is your opinion and you can kindly remove yourself and play in other servers.
13) Vulgarity in our Ventrilo Server and Gaming Servers are allowed, however if a fellow member, ally or guest in our vent have requested to not hear it please be respectful and watch your language around them from that point forward. If you have children you wish not to hear the language we request that you put down in your vent comment that your child is gaming and to watch the language please.
14) All 242 Members are subject to remotes by staff to their pc's. Failure to render a remote to an admin will be followed by immediate action of removal from Squad. ScreenShots are also asked for at random by 242 staff for all members including admin within a server. When an admin ask for a screenshot from everyone, everyone should immediately take a screenshot. Please don't take the stupid card out and say "How do you do that?" Taking a screenshot 5 seconds later is not acceptible. When asked take it immediately. All screenshots will be forwarded to =242=BR[ ]NZE (please ask in vent where to send it to if you do not know) We are an anti-cheat organization and will do whatever it takes to ensure that our reputation stays honorable and nothing less.
15) All 242 Members are expected to perform checks on their pc's for spyware, trojans, viruses... etc. We expect all pc's to be at their best performance possible. Any questions or software needed will be supplied and or suggested to assist you in this matter.
16) RULE 16 PERTAINS TO ALL =242=MEMBERS & RECRUIT'S! The following things are needed to become a =242=Squad Member. Ventrilo, Microphone, Xfire, Steam. You will need to be an age of 13 or higher (sometimes we do make exceptions). You will also need to be respectful to fellow members, allies, friends and or guest's of the overall gaming community. All members are required to be in the Vent server while gaming, if you don't want to talk or listen just move to the hang out channel. Populating the vent encourages a moving circulation of people coming in and out of the voice over ip. We also do this to protect our members, so we may verify each of our members' tags are not being copied by others meaning to harm us in very disrespectful manner by copying them. It openly shows you support the squad your in as well! Vulgarity in our Ventrilo server is allowed but please don't dump vulgarity all over the place. If someone ask's for you to please watch the language around them then please refrain from speaking it around them! New Recruits are required to fill out an application within that thread in the forums. Please note that all new recruits are on probationary acceptance for a 2 weeks period. At this point existing =242= members will vote you in or out. Any questions or help needed can be directed toward any =242= Admin or Members of squad. |
